What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle healing practice where 'universal life force' or energy is channelled through light touch to activate the body's natural healing process. This is facilitated through the hands of the practitioner. It is a subtle and relaxing technique that works across mental, emotional and physical imbalances. Reiki typically brings rapid stress reduction and relief from pain and anxiety.


​Working with reiki energy to remove energetic blocks that have been created over time, your body and mind can re-balance and experience a deep sense of relaxation. In this state, your body begins to heal, allowing you to return to your true nature.


​Reiki for stress and wellbeing works in conjunction with conventional medicine. Reiki can reduce side effects, lessen healing time, reduce or eliminate pain and create a sense of peace and optimism. Reiki activates your body's natural innate healing process.


When clients receive reiki the most common feedback after a session is that they feel relaxed and light. As if stress and tension have melted away. Reiki removes blockages in the energetic system in the body to allow it to heal from the inside out. We all have the innate power to heal our body and reiki provides the space for that to happen.
